The Penguin March Program

The Penguin March program is an incremental loyalty program for those who have consecutively participated in the Holiday Half Marathon.

• Penguin March status will be granted to those participants who have completed the Holiday Half Marathon for three (3) consecutive years.
• The first year of eligibility for any participant to join the Penguin March is 2011 (participants must have completed the Half Marathon in 2009 and 2010).
• 3^rd year Penguin March members will receive the “Little Blue” Penguin March Medal
• Each consecutive year after the 3^rd year (qualification year) – eligible participants will receive a special bar to add to their medal indicating their level in the Penguin March
• Once eligible participants reach their 6^th consecutive year, they will receive  a hooded sweatshirt with the Penguin March mascot
• Once eligible participants reach their 10^th consecutive year, they will be named “Emperor Penguin” and will receive the ultimate Penguin March medal/statue/memorabilia
• Each consecutive year that participants are a part of the Penguin March will have their penguin level indicated on their bib
• Only those who complete the HALF marathon will be eligible for this program.
• To stay a part of the Penguin March and grow in Penguin status, events must be run consecutively

• 5^th Year                Humbolt
• 6^th Year                Macaroni
• 7^th Year                Royal
• 8^th Year                Gentoo
• 9^th Year                King
• 10^th Year             Emperor
