How do I register?
Registration is open! Make sure you register here.
You can register online for the 1 Mile Penguin Waddle by clicking here
You can print a registration form and mail it to: Holiday Half Marathon, 3000 Pacific Ave, Long Beach, CA 90806 (mail in registrations must be received by November 1, 2012).
Note: Please make all checks payable to “Run Racing”. You can register in person at the Health & Fitness Expo on Saturday, Dec 8th and Sunday, Dec 9th at Fairplex So Cal. Please see the Expo page for more information.
What is the deadline for registration?
- The deadline for online registration is midnight, December 5, 2012
- All mail in registration must be received no later than November 1, 2012
- You can register in person at the Health & Fitness Expo on December 8 and 9, 2012
Can I register at the Health & Fitness Expo?
As long as the events have not sold out, you can register in person at the Health & Fitness Expo on Saturday, December 8, 2012 and Sunday, December 9, 2012.
How do I know if I am Registered?
Click on the “Check My Registration” icon on the homepage of the website.
Can I switch from one event to another?
Yes, changes can be requested by sending an email to info@runracing.com. Some changes will be allowed at the Health & Fitness Expo as long as the events have not sold out.
I did not receive a Confirmation Card.
In an effort to reduce the amount of paper that we use, we do not send out Race Confirmation Cards. You can check your registration status on our website or at the Health & Fitness Expo.
Can I register and/or pick up my race packet on race day?
Yes
What are the minimum age requirements?
- The recommended minimum age for the Half Marathon is 12 years old
- The acceptable ages for the Kids Fun Run is 12 and under
- There are no age restrictions for the other events
When and where can I pick up my race packet?
It is mandatory for everyone participating to pick up their race packet, t-shirt and bib at the Health & Fitness Expo on December 8 and 9, 2012. Please see the Expo page on this website for details on the Health & Fitness Expo.
Can someone else pick up my race packet?
Yes, someone else can pick up your registration materials if you cannot attend. They must bring a copy of your drivers license or photo ID and a signed waiver (download here) signed by the participant. (This is mandatory for us to confirm we are giving the correct bib, as well as liability issues).
Do you mail out race packets?
No, all race packets, t-shirts, and bibs must be picked up at the Health & Fitness Expo on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9, 2012.

What is the Group Discount Policy?
Groups of 20 or more qualify for a $5 per person discount if they send in their registration in one package and the total amount in one check.
Group discounts only apply to the Half Marathon. They do NOT apply to the 5K.
Please have each participant complete their own registration form, and if under 18 have their parent/guardian sign the form. Once all forms are complete, please send us the completed applications with a check for the total number of participants less the $5 per person discount. Where are the medical aid stations located?
The medical aid stations are located at miles 4.5, 7/9 and the Finish Line.
Can I walk the event?
Yes, you can walk the Half Marathon or the 5K.
